Award Placement

To get started, each uniform will need a world crest for the left pocket and the the Council Badge and the Pack number for the left sleeve.

The Lion patch goes on the left pocket, below the other ranks. (Be sure to leave plenty of room for the other awards!)

As a Scout works on his rank badge, the Scout will complete a number of "Adventures". For the younger kids, the reward for completing an Adventure is a belt loop worn on the belt. For Webelo Scouts, they will receive a pin that is worn on the "colors". The Webelo colors are a pin with ribbons placed on the right shoulder.

One "temporary patch" may be worn on the front, right pocket. Temporary patches often come with a loop to hang off the pocket. Other temporary patches may be placed in the plastic "holder" available at the Scout Store. Temporary Patches may include Shooting Awards, Eclipse Badge or Popcorn.

Once you remove a temporary patch or in the case of "just for fun" patches, you have lots of choices for these. Traditionally, they would go on a red vest, but may also be placed on a sweatshirt or displayed at home.
