Camp Kearney, 30000 Mission Camp Rd, Canton

Cost: $20 per family

•The fee covers the cost of food & cabins. Please bring cash & pay at event.

•An adult must attend with the scout. Siblings are welcome.

•You are welcome to arrive late or leave early, but please make arrangements with a leader so that we are able to give you directions and/or escort you to the campsite.

•Sleeping options: Group cabins with bunk beds available or tent camping (bring own tent).

•Food will be provided (Sat dinner & snacks, Sun breakfast & snacks, water). If you want to bring a food item, please bring enough to share. Check with a leader if you have something you want to bring. (Eat lunch before you arrive.)

•All participants must sign a waiver(s). Print and bring with you. See www.pack3017.com for links.

•There may be an opportunity for canoeing. Pack appropriate clothes and shoes.

•Weather dependent, gear may have to be carried a significant distance from cars.

Camp Kearney is located off of Route 24 near Banner Marsh. There are signs off of Route 24 to lead you to the Camp. You will come upon the house of the caretaker at the entrance of Camp. From there, we will give directions to wear on the camp you should park.

Payment/Money ($20 per family) Change of weather appropriate clothes Rain gear Hats & gloves & coat depending on weather Sturdy shoes for hiking Shoes and clothes for canoeing Flash light or lantern (with batteries) Foldable camping chairs Sunscreen Insect repellent Refillable water bottle Bedding (sleeping bag, pillow, etc. Bulk beds with mattress in cabins.) Mess Kit (plastic plates, silverware, cups from the Dollar store work well) Pocket knives are allowed ONLY for Scouts carrying his Whittling Chip Personal Cleaning & Medications (Showers available if desired) *Scouts are not allowed to bring electronics! (No IPads, IPods, electronic games, etc. Cameras are Ok.)
